Guerrilla Poetry

WALT: We are learning to use descriptive language to create a picture in the reader’s head.

Brainstorm using the padlet (password is home) ideas about ‘where you are from’ using the five senses: look, feel, smell, taste and hear.

Write your poem here:
Cold with hot mixed with  kids, running around in the sand.
In the beach enjoying the Sun.
Dirty feets in the house.
Smelly cats and smelly dogs.
Kids moaning, no food.
Cats and mud all over the place.
Legs and pegs on the couch.
Hooks and books on the table.

Once you have finished, show the teacher. Then get some chalk and an ipad and find a place around the school to share your poetry. Make sure you take a photo of it to post to your blog!!
