Introduction

Have you ever heard of the planet name Saturn? You can see it clearly in the night sky.So this is a report for you to read!It is all about Saturn

Appearance

Saturn is often called the planet with rings around it,when some  people forget Saturn's name.Saturn didn't always have rings around it.

Size

Some people think that Saturn is the biggest planet in the solar system.Saturn is the second largest planet in the solar system. Saturn has a small rocky core covered with liquid gas.

Moons

Did you know that the first time that we ,learning about the planets I thought, that Saturn has only 18 moons?Saturn has 62 moons.I am going to tell you the names of the moons that are in Saturn.Enceladus,Mimas,Tethys,Dione,Rhea,Titan,Hyperion,Iapetus,Pan,Atlas,Pandora,Prometheus,Janus,Epimetheus,Methone,Pallene,Calypso,Telesto,Helene,Polydeuces,Kiviuq,Ijiraq,Phoebe,Paaliaq,Sakthi,Albiorix,Erriapo,Siarnaq,Tarvos,Mundilfari,Narvi,Suttungr,Thrymr,Ymir ,and more.Titan is the largest and is the only moon in the solar system with an atmosphere.

Rings.

The rings are made up of millions of ice crystals, some as big as houses and others as small as specks of dust.The rings weren’t always there.The ice crystals were from another rocket.

Length of day and year.

A day on Saturn is 0d 10h 39m.A year on Saturn 10.656 hours.

Life on Saturn.

Saturn is not a peaceful planet. Storm winds race around the atmosphere at 800 kmp/hr.

Temperature.

Saturn is a pretty cool planet.The temperature right now is 288 degrees.

Saturn has a very strong magnetic field which traps energy particles resulting in high levels of radiation.Jupiter and Saturn almost have the same amount of moons.Jupiter has got 63 moons and Saturn has got 62 moons.Saturn is special because it is the only planet in the solar system.Saturn is very light as it is made up of more hydrogen than helium so it is less dense. If we could fit Saturn into a bathtub it would float (but that would have to be one big bathtub!)

Color.

Thousands of people were estimating and trying to find out the real color of Saturn,but now I found out that Saturn's color is yellowish-brown.

Conclusion.

The reason why I wrote about Saturn is because it’s special and  it has rings.Also the rings are made from hundreds and thousands of ice crystals.You can see Saturn without a telescope.
